CAD Technician

Job Title CAD Technician/Design Assistant Town Near Colchester Salary £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience Our client has been providing design and build services for residential developments and individual building projects for 18 years. They do the initial sketches working with clients through to full construction drawings. The CAD Technician / Design Assistant will need to have good AutoCAD and Photoshop skills. This is a small practice that can offer a friendly but busy work environment where individual effort can be recognised. Duties: Working alongside seasoned professionals you will produce drawings using AutoCAD Prepare planning applications for developers Detail development layouts and house type planning drawings using photoshop Attach xrefs and add images for overlays Skills and Experience: Construction in the Built Environment qualification or similar would be ideal but not essential Good knowledge of working drawings Must have good AutoCAD and Photoshop skills Diligent and able to work under pressure Must be self-motivated and have excellent timekeeping skillsBenefits: Hours of work 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday 20 days holiday + bank Additional Benefits available Free parking Due to the company location only candidates who have their own transport can be considered If you have good CAD and Photoshop skills then call Julia @ Prime Appointments or apply via the link.
