Cafcass | Newcastle| Family Court Advisor

We are currently recruiting for experienced Social Workers with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience who have working knowledge of Public and Private Law for Cafcass , Newcastle upon Tyne

This role is a mix of hybrid and office but court and visits will be all face to face

We Have Cafcass vacancies for : Newcastle Office, Public Law Roles (Court based and need to be local) and

Newcastle Office, Private Law Role (section 7s )

Duties Include:

Providing services to children, families and courts

Assessing and analysing court applications for any child protection and serious welfare issues affecting a child or young person

Undertaking Quality Assurance, case file reviews, review transfers in and out and case management

Completing assessments, including section 7's

Providing information to the courts on matters involving children both public and private law,

Working with legal representatives and social work staff from other agencies, providing adoption advice and guidance, and overseeing practice
