Care Assistant – Residential Care Home Location Shipley and Keighley, West Yorkshire Salary £12.50-£13.50 DOE Weekly pay Hours Adhoc shifts Days and Nights available Contract Casual / Bank Essential Requirements • Minimum 8 months experience within a care setting • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service • Confident with medication administration • Manual handling and hoisting experience • Personal care experience • Reliable and able to work independently • Strong communication skills The Role We are supporting a residential care home in the Shipley and Keighley area seeking experienced Care Assistants for adhoc and casual cover. You will be responsible for: • Delivering high quality person centred care • Supporting residents with personal care needs • Administering medication in line with policies • Assisting with mobility including hoisting • Supporting residents with daily activities • Maintaining accurate care records • Promoting dignity, independence and safeguarding at all times This is a hands on role suited to candidates who can integrate quickly into established teams and confidently manage shift responsibilities.
