Care Assistant

Care Assistant Location: East London, Waltham Forest Shift Pattern: 7:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 9:00pm / 7:00am – 9:00pm / 9:00pm – 7:00am Pay Rate: £16 – £18 per hour Nocturnal Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Care Assistants to work within a well-established Care Home in Waltham Forest, supporting elderly residents including individuals living with dementia. This role is ideal for compassionate and reliable carers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with dignity and respect. Role Responsibilities • Providing personal care and day-to-day support to elderly residents • Supporting individuals living with dementia and age-related conditions • Assisting with mobility and transfers using hoists and moving & handling equipment • Supporting residents with meals, hydration and daily routines • Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing at all times • Completing care notes and reporting any concerns to senior staff • Working as part of a professional care team Requirements: • Minimum 1 year experience working within a Care Home or similar setting • Experience supporting elderly residents and dementia care • Practical Manual Handling Training (or willingness to complete training) • Confidence using hoists and moving & handling equipment • Valid DBS within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service) or willingness to complete a new one • A caring, reliable and professional approach • Must be happy to provide personal care About Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions We specialise in providing high-quality Care & Support Workers, HCAs, Team Leaders, and healthcare professionals across Residential Homes (Adults & Children), Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Supported Living, Hostels, and Community Services
