Care Assistant – Residential & Assisted Living Service Location Skipton, North Yorkshire Salary £12.50-£13.50 Weekly pay Hours Adhoc shifts Days and Nights available Contract Casual / Bank Essential Requirements • Minimum 8 months experience within a care setting • Experience supporting individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, ALS, brain injuries and physical disabilities • Experience within residential or assisted living services • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service • Medication administration trained • Manual handling and hoisting experience • Personal care experience • Confident working independently and within a team The Role We are supporting a residential and assisted living service in Skipton seeking experienced Care Assistants for adhoc and casual cover. You will be responsible for: • Delivering person centred care tailored to complex needs • Supporting individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer’s • Providing care to residents with ALS and acquired brain injuries • Assisting with mobility including hoisting and safe transfers • Administering medication in line with care plans • Supporting daily living tasks while promoting independence • Maintaining accurate and compliant care documentation This role requires confident carers who can adapt quickly, manage varying levels of need and uphold high safeguarding standards.
