Location: PL7 (Plymouth Area) Start Date: Late March Duration: 18 Months Rate: £23 per hour (CIS) About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced CAT 972 Loading Shovel Operator for a long-term project based in the PL7 area of Plymouth. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent work on a well-organised site with an 18-month programme. Key Responsibilities Operating a CAT 972 Loading Shovel safely and efficiently Loading materials and supporting site operations as directed Working alongside plant operators, groundworkers, and site teams Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects Maintaining high standards of site safety and operational awareness Requirements Proven experience operating CAT 972 Loading Shovels or similar large machines Valid CPCS or NPORS Loading Shovel ticket Previous experience on construction, quarry, or large infrastructure sites Good understanding of health and safety procedures on site Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team What’s on Offer 18-month contract with long-term stability £23 per hour (CIS) Opportunity to work on a large ongoing project If you are an experienced CAT 972 Operator available to start late March in the PL7 area, please get in touch with your CV and tickets.
