Category C HGV Driver Workingham • Full time, Monday – Friday (7am – 4pm) • Permanent position • £36,500 per annum + overtime Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Our client is the UK’s leading distributor of Formwork Products & Construction Chemicals, stocking and supplying over 5,000 product lines to the construction industry. The Role We’re currently looking for an experienced Category C HGV Driver to join our clients team. This role combines driving with warehouse support, offering variety and the opportunity to work within a supportive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver and collect goods across London, the Home Counties, and beyond • Maintain cleanliness and safety of company vehicles • Conduct safety and damage checks on vehicles • Accurately complete relevant delivery paperwork • Assist in warehouse operations: picking, packing, and forklift operation • Ensure compliance with FORS standards and safety procedures • Understand safe loading practices and manual handling (able to lift up to 25kg) • Receive deliveries, check documentation, and unload using a forklift as required • Communicate effectively and stay organised under pressure • Uphold a smart, professional appearance at all times Benefits: We value our team and offer a supportive environment with great perks, including: • £36,500 per annum plus overtime opportunities • Company pension scheme • 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays • Full PPE and uniform provided • Mobile phone and GPS included • Modern fleet fitted with advanced vehicle safety cameras • Opportunities to grow with a thriving business The Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for someone with solid experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to be part of a team. • Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement • Current CPC (Driver Qualification Card) • Digital Tacho card and knowledge of its use • Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes) • Good understanding of English (spoken and written) • Forklift experience (preferred but not essential) • Confidence driving in and around London • Excellent communication and organisation skills
