Certified MIG/TIG Welder – Rhondda Employer: TAY Recruitment Job Type: Full-Time Location: Rhondda Hourly Pay: £14.77 per Hour Type of Contract: Temp to Perm TAY Recruitment are seeking an experienced Certified MIG/TIG Welder to join our client’s established manufacturing team based in the Rhondda. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities * Carry out welding tasks to meet drawings, specifications, and production requirements * Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal components * Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding (including stainless steel); brazing experience is an advantage * Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with quality standards * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment * Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines Experience & Skills Required * Proven experience in welding, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment * Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics * Excellent basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations * Competent in MIG, TIG, and brazing techniques * Confident using hand tools, power tools, and standard welding equipment * Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is highly desirable * Mechanical understanding for basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance This vacancy is being advertised by TAY Recruitment (An Employment agency) on behalf of our client.
