Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is actively seeking NPTC or Lantra qualified Chainsaw Operatives for a short-term de-vegetation project in Newport. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work requiring strict adherence to safety procedures and efficient teamwork.

Key Duties

Operate chainsaws safely and effectively in line with site standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Carry out de-vegetation works to required specifications.
Maintain high levels of safety awareness at all times.
Communicate clearly with site supervisors and team members.
Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults promptly.
Follow all site-specific rules, procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

Valid chainsaw qualification (NPTC or Lantra).
Valid CSCS card.
Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.
