Chartered Building Surveyor
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded consultancy delivering high-quality building surveying services across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied workload, combining both project-led and professional building surveying instructions.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of building surveying services, including:
Contract administration and project management of refurbishment, alteration and maintenance schemes.
Preparation of specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
Building inspections and condition surveys.
Dilapidations (acting for both landlord and tenant).
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) surveys.
Technical due diligence and acquisition surveys.
Defect diagnosis and preparation of technical reports.
Party wall matters and other professional building surveying services where appropriate.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the team.
About You
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:
MRICS qualification (essential).
A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Proven experience delivering both project and professional building surveying services.
Strong technical knowledge of building pathology, construction and contract administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple commissions.
Full UK driving licence.
