Chemical Process Operator
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will support production activities while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental protection, and product quality. Key Responsibilities * Operate production processes in line with the company’s commitment to protecting the environment, employees, customers, and the public. * Ensure product quality and production quantity targets are consistently met. * Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure plant breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner. * Assist other operators as required by Line Supervisors. * Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are always treated as priority issues. * Maintain good housekeeping standards within plant areas and surrounding facilities. * Carry out basic Quality Control (QC) analysis when required. * Undertake training in multi-skilling, including simple engineering and maintenance tasks. * Issue Permits to Work (once trained) to control work conducted in plant areas. * Support loading and blending operations within the production process. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and develop. Training will be provided, so previous experience in the chemical industry is not essential, although it may be advantageous. You will also have: * Strong awareness of health and safety practices * Basic computer literacy * A practical, hands-on approach * The ability to work effectively as part of a team Working Hours This role operates on a 12-hour shift pattern, working a 4 on / 4 off rota: 2 Days 2 Nights 4 Rest Days Salary Salary: £38,528.88 per annum
