Chemistry Laboratory Assistant
Are you a creative and talented Laboratory Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity? Our dynamic client, requires a Laboratory Assistant to support its innovation team in the laboratory. You will be working various Shift Patterns, days and nights. As the Laboratory Assistant you will: · Work as part of an operational team to provide samples to the laboratory in a timely manner · Receive samples and perform integrity checks, completing all documentation · Dispensing, storage under relevant conditions and disposal of samples · Log-in samples when required · Maintain a clean, tidy and well-equipped work area. · Observing any operational regulations · Complete primary sample extraction for the team · Responsive and willing to perform additional analyses as and when required · Perform routine maintenance on a range of scientific equipment. · Interpret analytical data . Ideally have a Chemistry degree As the Laboratory Assistant you will be: · Good at time managements and able to work within acceptable time frames to meet deadlines · Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and willingness to get involved · Making a positive contribution in daily tasks · A good communicator – written and verbally · A team player who thinks ‘outside the box’ · Excellent work ethic and values If you think that this Laboratory Assistant vacancy is for you, then apply today to be considered for this role in a company where full training will be provided.
