Children’s Home Team Leader – Greater Manchester & Surrounding Areas Location: Greater Manchester and surrounding areas Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum BRB Recruit are working with numerous children’s homes across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas that are seeking Team Leaders to provide hands-on, on-shift support. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved on the ground level, supporting both the children and the team to deliver outstanding care. Why This Role? * Competitive salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum * Be a key part of the home, working directly with children and staff * Opportunity to develop leadership skills and progress your career * Work across a variety of homes and teams in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas Key Responsibilities: * Provide on-shift leadership and support for children and staff * Assist the Deputy/Registered Manager in day-to-day running of the home * Deliver high-quality care, ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing * Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures * Support, mentor, and guide junior staff * Maintain accurate records and reports Requirements: * Previous experience in a residential childcare role with some leadership experience * Understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements * Level 3 or above in relevant care/childcare qualification * Ability to work sleep-in shifts as required * Full UK driving licence (desirable) If you’re a motivated Team Leader looking for a hands-on role with responsibility and career progression, this is the opportunity for you
