Our client Bury council is looking for a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Safeguarding team.

Main duties include:

Lead on complex safeguarding cases involving children at risk of harm
Provide expert advice, guidance, and supervision to social workers
Carry out advanced assessments and develop robust protection plans
Work under key legislation such as the Children Act 1989 and Children Act 2004
Chair or contribute to child protection conferences and strategy meetings
Liaise with multi-agency partners (police, schools, health services)
Ensure high-quality practice and compliance with safeguarding procedures
Support staff development, mentoring, and practice improvement
