Children's Registered Manager - Residential Care - Manchester

We are seeking a dedicated Children's Registered Manager to oversee a residential care service for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in the Manchester region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a nationally recognised organisation specialising in OFSTED regulated support services, providing a clear path for professional development and career progression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe management of a children's home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards and company policies. You will work closely with the organisation's senior management team to deliver high-quality care, support service quality assurance, and manage the operational aspects of the residential service. Managing and developing staff, including deputies, team leaders, and support workers, will be a key aspect of this role, alongside managing budgets and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management, with previous experience as a deputy or registered manager within children’s residential care. Strong leadership skills, excellent organisational ability, and a commitment to safeguarding and quality standards are essential. Knowledge of OFSTED regulations, experience in managing staff teams, and the ability to maintain high standards of care are critical for success in this position. The role involves working full-time, Monday to Friday, with additional on-call duties to ensure continuous service delivery.
