Registered Manager (Children’s Residential)

Locations: Stone, Tutbury and Eccleshall (Staffordshire)
Salary: From £50,000 + 10% bonus (paid quarterly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with on-call duties (1 in 9)

About the Role

We are recruiting for three Registered Managers, each to lead a residential children’s home in Stone, Tutbury, and Eccleshall.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a residential children’s home in line with legislation and company standards

* Deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care

* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people

* Develop and implement care and service development plans

* Lead, support, and develop staff teams

* Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Care Standards Act 2000

* Manage rotas, staffing, and performance standards

* Work with external agencies and stakeholders

* Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections

About You

* Experienced leader within a children’s residential setting

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and childcare legislation

* Proven ability to manage and develop teams

* Strong communication and report writing skills

* Committed to improving outcomes for young people

Requirements

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)

* Senior experience within a children’s residential home

* Sound knowledge of Children Act 1989 and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

* Full UK driving licence preferred
