About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality care within children’s residential homes across the Midlands and surrounding areas.

Working alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you will lead and support a team to provide safe, nurturing, and child-centred care. You will play a key role in supporting children to develop resilience, build positive relationships, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, motivate, and support Residential Support Workers

* Deliver high-quality, child-centred care

* Support children with daily routines, education, and activities

* Promote positive behaviour and support de-escalation strategies

* Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews

* Ensure safeguarding practices are consistently followed

* Build effective relationships with families and professionals

* Support staff development through supervision and mentoring

Requirements

Essential:

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

* Experience working within children’s residential care

* Experience in a senior or leadership role

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

* Level 5 qualification (or working towards)

* Experience supervising or mentoring staff

* Experience supporting children with complex needs

* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
