Civil Engineer (All levels) | Sheffield

Strata have partnered with a growing consultancy and we’re looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join their Sheffield team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking consultancy known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the region. The role You’ll work as part of a collaborative design team on a wide range of civil engineering projects. From site-development infrastructure to drainage strategies and earthworks design, you’ll play a key role in shaping projects from concept through to completion. What you will be doing: Producing designs for highways, drainage, external works and general civil infrastructure Preparing drawings, calculations and technical reports Liaising with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines Supporting planning applications with design input and technical documentation Contributing to project meetings and providing on-site technical support where required Ensuring designs comply with current UK standards, legislation and best practice About you Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent) Working toward CEng or IEng status (ICE) – or keen to progress Experience using software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, or similar Strong understanding of UK regulations, SuDS, and adoptable standards A proactive mindset with great communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate effectively within a team Whats on offers Competitive salary based on experience Professional development support & ICE mentorship Flexible working options A friendly, collaborative team culture Exposure to a diverse portfolio of regional and national projects Real opportunities for progression as we continue to grow
