Civil Engineer Leeds Up to £40,000 + Benefits A well-established and growing Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy in Leeds is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer to join their expanding infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected design practice delivering residential and commercial development projects across Yorkshire and the wider UK. The Role Reporting to a Director, you will be responsible for the detailed design of private and adoptable infrastructure schemes, with a strong focus on highways and drainage. Key responsibilities: • Detailed design of private and adoptable drainage schemes • Preparation of S278, S38 and S104 agreements • Highway and infrastructure design for residential and commercial developments • Production of engineering drawings and technical documentation • Liaison with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary design teams • Supporting projects from initial concept through to technical approval You will benefit from ongoing technical support, on-project learning and external training where required, with clear progression opportunities. Requirements • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng) • 3+ years’ experience in highway and drainage design • Experience producing engineering and technical drawings • Proficient in AutoCAD • Experience with PDS or Civil 3D • Knowledge of MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel What’s on Offer • Salary up to £40,000 (DOE) • Regular pay reviews • Hybrid and flexible working • Pension contribution • Bonus scheme • Payment of professional subscriptions • Clear career progression within a growing consultancy This position would suit a Civil Engineer looking to take the next step within a supportive and technically strong consultancy environment.
