Civil Project Engineer Chorley Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 Are you a Civil Project Engineer ready to take on varied highways and drainage work with more ownership and clear career progression? This Civil Project Engineer opportunity is with a leading consultancy in Chorley that is growing steadily and investing in its people. The Civil Project Engineer will join a supportive multi-office team delivering development infrastructure projects across the UK. For a Civil Project Engineer who enjoys design, coordination and technical variety, this role offers strong exposure, collaboration and the chance to progress within a respected consultancy environment. Key responsibilities * Deliver highways and drainage designs for development and adoptable works * Prepare calculations, sketches, design models and technical drawings * Use AutoCAD, Site3D, Causeway Flow or similar software * Work to current standards including CIRIA guides, BRE Digest and BS EN 752 * Support S278, S38 and S104 approvals and related submissions * Manage your workload across multiple projects and support programme delivery * Undertake site visits and prepare reports and specifications * Support junior staff and contribute to design quality and team efficiency Candidate requirements * Minimum 3 years of UK highways and drainage design experience * Strong AutoCAD, Site3D, Causeway Flow or similar capability * Good understanding of S278, S38 and S104 standards * Commercial awareness and the ability to manage delivery efficiently * Strong communication skills and a proactive approach * Working toward Chartership, or interested in pursuing it The Civil Project Engineer role offers flexible working, career development, strong team support and a salary of £38,000 - £48,000 plus benefits.
