Apply NowAstute's Power team are looking to recruit a Civil Project Manager on an Energy from Waste Project on a 2-3-year contract basis.
Key skills
Encourage contractor teams to meet project HSEQ requirements, ensuring safety and compliance throughout design and execution phases.
Oversee the civil project team, allocating tasks and responsibilities to ensure objectives are met on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Ensures coordination with site and line management.
Define and manage the Civil Project Scope, revise schedules, and monitor progress.
Take ownership of civil change management and cost control, ensuring project compliance with targets.
Lead risk assessments, mitigation plans, and progress reporting.
Organize project meetings and maintains communication plans to ensure efficient information flow.
Support subcontractor evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration.
Provide input on technical, commercial, and contractual aspects during the tender and execution phases.
Candidates must hold a university degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar
Must hold previous experience as a Project Manager EPC or Subcontractor Civil Project Manager in the Energy from Waste sector or heavy/industrial civil business.
Must have experience as a leader in HSEQ and knowledge of HSEQ.
Must have in-date CSCS/CCNSG Card and SMSTS card.
