Civil Site Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Site Manager to support the delivery of a major 400kV Substation.
This role requires experience working on National Grid substations, with responsibility for site leadership, safety management and delivery of civils works on a complex infrastructure project.
The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strict compliance standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing day-to-day site operations, including operatives and subcontractors
Leading delivery of civil works on power / substation projects
Producing and managing RAMS, construction phase plans and site documentation
Delivering toolbox talks, site inductions and daily briefings
Overseeing health, safety and quality compliance on site
Conducting site inspections and progress monitoring
Managing temporary works and safe systems of work (SSoW)
Supporting programme delivery and resolving on-site issues
Maintaining detailed site records, reports and documentationWhat They're Looking For
Experience as a PCSM on National Grid Substations up to 400kV
Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and site compliance
