Defendant Personal Injury Claims Handler Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE Location: Bradford City Centre Contract: Full-time, Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Defendant Personal Injury Claims Handler to join a highly regarded and expanding Defendant Personal Injury team based in modern offices in Bradford city centre. This role is ideally suited to a confident pre-litigation claims professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, fast-paced, and performance-driven legal environment. The Role You will manage a varied caseload of pre-litigation Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims, acting on behalf of insurer and corporate clients. The role requires a methodical, process-driven approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent client-handling skills. Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of pre-litigation EL/PL claims from inception to settlement Investigating liability, causation, and quantum Reviewing medical evidence and expert reports Drafting correspondence and settlement negotiations Providing accurate technical advice to clients and stakeholders Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal KPIs Delivering excellent client care and maintaining high service standards About You Essential Requirements: Minimum 18 months' experience handling pre-litigation personal injury claims Strong understanding of EL/PL claims processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills High level of IT literacy and case management experience Organised, methodical, and process-driven approach Positive attitude with enthusiasm and willingness to learn Desirable: Previous experience handling retail-related claims Exposure to insurer or defendant legal environments Benefits & Package In return, you will receive a highly competitive remuneration and benefits package, including: £25,000 - £28,000 salary (depending on experience) 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, with option to purchase additional days Private medical insurance Life assurance Health cash plan Employee Assistance Programme Interest-free travel loans Rewards, recognition & wellbeing platform with retail discounts Why Apply?
