Apply NowIdeal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford.
The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK, with an average of 2–3 drops of caged goods and some collections.
Rates of Pay: PAYE.

FROM 1st NOVEMBER TO 13th DECEMBER
Day rate £19.05 p/h between 06:00–13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £26.80 p/h.
Afternoon rate £21.62 p/h between 14:00–21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £29.38 p/h.
Night rate £23.15 p/h between 22:00–05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £30.90 p/h.
FROM 13th DECEMBER TO 3rd JANUARY
Day rate £20.12 p/h between 06:00–13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £27.88 p/h.
Afternoon rate £22.75 p/h between 14:00–21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £30.50 p/h.
Night rate £24.27 p/h between 22:00–05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).
Overtime after 45 hours £32.02 p/h.
From 1st December to 3rd January, drivers who work a weekend shift will receive a £1 hourly premium for all hours worked during that week.
Additional Information:
Paid assessment is required.
Fully paid breaks.
Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights — shifts from Monday to Sunday.
You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:
HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category C+E).
At least 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
Experience driving refrigerated units preferred.
Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
