Class 1 Night Driver

Apply NowGalaxy Personnel ltd are looking for Class 1 Night drivers, in the Bury St Edmunds area.
This will be on a Temp to Perm basis
Pay: Earn £16.00 per hour (PAYE), guaranteed 42.5 hours per week. .
🚛 Core Responsibilities
*Multi-Drop Deliveries: Completing between 6 and 15 drops per shift, depending on the route and product type.
*Manual Handling: Loading and unloading goods, often using equipment like tail lifts, pallet trucks, sack barrows, or roll cages.
Compliance: Strictly adhering to EU Drivers' Hours, Tachograph regulations, and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections to ensure roadworthiness and reporting defects.
Requirements:
• Valid Cat C driving license, Digi card, CPC card
• ADR license preferable (not essential)
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachograph.
• Successful candidates require a DBS check.
Details:
• New / inexperienced drivers who hold the relevant truck / HGV licenses are welcome to apply.
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your license, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
