We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join a busy transport operation based just off Mansfield Road in Derby (DE21). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants steady, ongoing night work with the option to go permanent after 12 weeks.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday with a regular 18:00 start, so if you prefer structured nights and your weekends free, this is ideal. The work is straightforward trunking – no handball, no multi-drop, and no messing around. Just get in, do your job, and finish at a sensible time.
What’s on offer:

£20.00 per hour (PAYE)

Night shift starting at 18:00

Monday to Friday – weekends off

Temp to perm after 12 weeks

What you’ll be doing:

Night trunking between depots and hubs
*
Completing vehicle checks and keeping paperwork in order
*
Driving safely and professionally at all times

They’ve got a proper setup – good trucks, professional transport team, and a history of taking on agency drivers full-time. A valid Class 1 (C+E) license

CPC and digital tachograph

At least 6 months’ recent Class 1 experience
