Class 1 Night Driver

Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in general haulage deliveries.

About this Class 1 Night role:

Ongoing work between Monday to Friday
Start times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)
Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goods
Driving a Class 1 curtain sider (double decker & single deck)
One delivery to main hub in the midlands
Pallets are forklifted off the vehicle
ADR Qualification is beneficialRequirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:

Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
Double decker experience
Strapping experience
Experience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries
Own transport to commute to and from work
Fantastic time keeping and communications skills
Complete daily vehicle checks
