Apply NowDriver Hire Colchester are currently recruiting for Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team.
Our clients are based across the CO postcode; Colchester, Sudbury, etc. They require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.
This a temporary, adhoc role, part time shifts available initally with potential for full time shifts.
**Immediate start available **
Class 2 LGV shifts pay rate starts at £16.25 p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,
Class 1 LGV shifts pay rate starts at £17.37 p/h weekday, Monday to Friday day work,
Nights £21.00 - £23.00 p/h
PAYE only - not umbrella - not LTD
Job Details:

Variety and flexibility. Opportunities to work for a variety of clients, no two weeks are the same. Choose your availabilty on a weekly bases and pick up work when it suits you.
*
Start times vary 04:00 and 07:00 AM.
* Mainly Monday to Friday Day work, however nights are available
*
Trunking, General haulage, Curtain siders, Flat bed, Refrigerated trailers, Builders merchants, palletised deliveries ETC
*
Local and regional deliveries,
*
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
*
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
What We Offer

Weekly pay,
* Minimum of 8hrs pay per shift, PAYE
*
Flexible shifts, work days to suit current commitments
*
Full time and part time shifts available
*
24/7 support from our experienced team
Requirements:
*
Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
*
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence or Class 2 (CAT C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
*
No More then 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
*
Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
*
Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
* 2 yrs experience preferred but not essential
Key Attributes:

Reliable, professional, and punctual.
*
Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
Flexible and able to adapt to different routes and delivery schedules.
*Pay above is inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%, other options for accruing holiday please ask
