Class 2 Driver

Job Title: Class 2 Multi-drop Delivery Driver Location: Bradford Pay Rates: £15.40 to £17.26 p/h Shifts: Full-time hours - Monday to Friday working with 0730 starts Experience: Class 2 drivers must:  Hold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations: Safe opening and closing of curtains Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap) Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability Working safely at height where necessary Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung) Operating an electric pallet truckIgnition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Bradford to work with our client, who is a leading Logistics & Distribution company.  Employee Benefits: Competitive Salary: £15.40 to £17.26 p/h Immediate Starts: Begin earning immediately Weekly Pay: Every Friday Secure Site: Free, secure car parking or bicycle storage on site Professional Development: Full site induction Shifts: Regular, ongoing shiftsRoles & Responsibilities: Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle  Palletised goods Multi-drop deliveries and collections Between 8 and 15 drops a day Vehicle checks and the usual paperworkAs this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.  About you: You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and hold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence.  Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations: Safe opening and closing of curtains Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap) Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability Working safely at height where necessary Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung) Operating an electric pallet truckYou must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.
