Job Specification: Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver
Location: Redditch
Start Time: 05:30 AM
Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Contract Type: Adhoc - Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting for reliable and experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Drivers to join our client's team in Redditch delivering refrigerated goods to businesses. This is a adhoc position which could become a temp to perm for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries of goods to various customer locations.
* Ensure timely and safe delivery, adhering to schedules.
* Complete all relevant paperwork and log delivery information accurately.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects or issues.
* Follow all driving laws and company policies regarding road safety.
Requirements:
* A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience
* Previous multi-drop driving experience is preferred.
* Good knowledge of local and national road networks.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Physically fit – some manual handling may be required.
