🕒 Monday to Friday / Every Other Saturday (half day) | Day Shifts | Ongoing Work
Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for skip lorry work with a well-established operator in the waste and aggregates sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work with overtime available.
🔧 The Role
* Operating Class 2 skip vehicles on local routes
* Delivering and collecting skips safely and efficiently
* Completing vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
* Accurately completing paperwork and job sheets
* Maintaining communication with the transport office
* Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations
💷 Pay Rates (PAYE)
* £19.00 per hour – Basic (up to 45 hours)
* £23.00 per hour – Overtime (after 45 hours)
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
* Experience within waste, aggregates or construction preferred
* Strong focus on safety and compliance
* Reliable, professional and customer-focused
* Good communication and teamwork skills
