A leading Facilities Management provider is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join the team on a permanent, part-time basis supporting a local secondary school in Canterbury. This is a hands-on supervisory role managing a team of cleaners and ensuring consistently high standards across the site.
Working hours are 20 hours per week. Wage is £16 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
* Supervise and support a team of 17 cleaners across daily operations
* Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and completed to specification
* Carry out regular quality checks and resolve any issues proactively
* Manage rotas, attendance and day-to-day team coordination
* Support training, onboarding and ongoing performance of cleaning staff
* Maintain health & safety and compliance standards across the site
* Liaise with management to ensure smooth service delivery
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience within cleaning supervision or cleaning management
* Experience leading teams in a commercial, education or FM environment
* Strong organisation and people management skills
* Ability to maintain high standards and work proactively
* Good communication skills and a hands-on approach
* Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning compliance would be advantageous
* Clean and current DBS Certificate
