Client Executive, Investments
Overview: Our Credit & Investment Team at MUFG Corporate Markets, a division of MUFG Pension & Market Services, are looking to recruit a Client Executive – Investments. The team provide proactive investment advice to clients, including conducting research on new products that come to market with themes such as the Environment and Social Governance (ESG). In addition, the team runs an Agency Treasury Service (ATS), which allows clients to place various deposits through us with our range of panel banks as well as providing Treasury Management Services to two financial regulatory bodies. The Client Executive - Investments will join as a junior member of the team, initially working to provide a range of reports, economic commentaries and presentations, as well as historic and live market data to the wider team and our clients. This role is a hybrid role, with a blend of both working from home and from our London based office, so you need to be within commuting distance of central London. The nearest tube/DLR stations are Tower Hill, Liverpool Street Station, Monument, Aldgate and Bank Station Candidates should have A-Levels or equivalent academic qualifications and desirable if completing their final year of an undergraduate degree, looking to start work in the Summer of 2026. You should also have an interest in Economics, Investments and Financial Markets. This should be clearly identified through either using it as part of your studies or having taken external training modules Day to Day, you will: • Compose daily and weekly commentaries which review major economic events and market activity for distribution to clients • Produce monthly fund monitoring reports for distribution to the wider Treasury team on a multitude of asset classes including money-market, fixed income, equities and property, whilst liaising with Client Relationship Managers and Client Executives to ensure reports remain relevant and informative • Produce monthly counterparty risk assessments which review risk and financial metrics and other news relating to a range of banks • Update the weekly ATS rate sheet, inputting the rates received by our panel banks for distribution to clients • Check ATS deals placed to ensure processes have been followed correctly, the correct information has been saved for auditing purposes and all figures reconcile with further progress in this role to follow • Once comfortable in the role, work towards assisting with the ATS dealing which involves arranging the placement of fixed deposits, call and notice accounts with our range of panel banks • Produce client deal confirmations for both daily deals placed and monthly accrued interest statements • Provide Treasury Management Services for the two financial regulatory bodies, to include dealing on their behalf in accordance with their treasury management policy. • Produce daily, weekly and monthly management information • Attend seminars which include sessions from market-leading experts such as Capital Economics, to gain a greater understanding of current market conditions and forecasts • Provide ad‑hoc support to the Credit & Investment team.
