Client Manager Location: Selby  Salary: £35,000 to £46,000 depending on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing independent accountancy practice based near Selby. The firm supports a wide range of SME clients and is continuing to expand its service offering, creating the need for an experienced Accountant who can also take on a team leadership role. This is a key position within the practice, combining hands on technical work with responsibility for managing a small team and overseeing a portfolio of clients. Benefits of the Client Manager Role: • Salary £35,000 to £46,000 depending on experience • 31 days annual leave including bank holidays • Medical and dental insurance • Enhanced sick pay scheme • Enhanced maternity and paternity scheme • Mainly office based with occasional hybrid flexibility • Clear opportunities for progression and increased responsibility Responsibilities of the Client Manager Role: • Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact • Preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns • Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with deadlines • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members • Managing team workflow and supporting day to day delivery • Building strong relationships with clients and providing practical advice • Identifying opportunities to support clients further and contribute to business growth • Supporting process improvements and adoption of new software and systems Requirements of the Client Manager Role include: • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience • Strong experience working within an accountancy practice environment • Confident reviewing accounts and tax work for a range of SME clients • Previous experience supervising or managing junior staff • Comfortable managing deadlines and client relationships • Experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle How to apply for the Accounts Assistant job: If you’d like to find out more, please click APPLY or contact Elliot on (url removed) or (phone number removed) for further details
