Cloud & Platform Engineering Advisory Consultant x2 UK-wide £100,000 - £110,000 + bonus + perm benefits Are you passionate about helping organisations modernise, adopt cloud at scale, and build future‑ready digital platforms? We're looking for a Cloud & Platform Engineering Advisory Consultant to join a forward‑thinking technology and transformation team driving major change across the UK. In this role, you'll partner with senior stakeholders-often at C‑suite level-to shape cloud strategies, advise on complex transformation programmes, and translate real‑world business challenges into innovative, practical, and secure cloud solutions. What you'll be doing Advising senior leaders on large-scale cloud and platform engineering transformation programmes. Building strong, long‑term relationships with clients and internal teams. Designing technical strategies and solution approaches across cloud, automation, and modern engineering practices. Representing the advisory function in strategic forums and contributing to thought leadership. Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.What you'll bring Hands‑on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications beneficial). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of platform engineering, cloud operating models, automation, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and FinOps. Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, user‑centric cloud solutions. Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach.
