CMM Operator / Inspector (Aberlink) Location: Stroud Pay: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour Shifts: Rotational Early & Late Shifts Job Type: Permanent A precision engineering company in Stroud is expanding its quality team and is looking for a confident inspector to support first‑off, in‑process, and final inspection across a wide range of machined components. The Role * Operating and programming Aberlink CMM systems * Carrying out first‑off, patrol, and final inspections * Producing accurate inspection reports and maintaining quality records * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T * Using manual inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, etc.) * Working closely with production and engineering teams * Supporting continuous improvement and non‑conformance investigations What You’ll Need * Proven experience as a CMM Operator / Inspector * Strong working knowledge of Aberlink software * Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T * Experience within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment * High attention to detail and a proactive approach * Willingness to work rotating early and late shifts Shift Pattern * Early Shift: e.g., 06:00–14:00 * Late Shift: e.g., 14:00–22:00 (Exact hours can be confirmed with the employer.)
