CNC Machinist

Salary: €65,000 - €85,000 DOE
Set and operate advanced CNC machinery to produce high-precision components for regulated, high-spec industries. This role covers the full machining lifecycle, from CAM programming and initial prove-out through to optimisation and repeat production. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, consistency and performance across a modern manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position suited a CNC Machinist who values precision, ownership and continuous improvement.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for
* Set up, prove-out and run components to stringent engineering and quality standards
* Improve cycle times and maximise machine utilisation
* Design and refine fixturing and workholding solutions
* Select appropriate tooling and machining parameters for a range of advanced materials
* Ensure high-quality output with a focus on right-first-time manufacturing
* Support new product introduction from drawing through to production
* Collaborate with engineering and digital teams to improve data capture, scheduling and automation
* Contribute to standardising programming approaches across multiple sites
The CNC Machinist will require
* Strong experience in CAM programming (e.g. Fusion, Hypermill, Mastercam or similar)
* Demonstrated ability to achieve tight tolerances in precision manufacturing environments
* Experience setting and operating advanced CNC machinery
* Solid understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling strategies and workholding principles
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
* Experience within high-spec or regulated industries is advantageous
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
It is desirable for the CNC Machinist to have
* Experience with simultaneous 5-axis machining
* Familiarity with probing, automation or pallet systems
* Understanding of recognised quality standards (e.g. AS9100, ISO9001)
* Interest in advanced manufacturing, automation or data-led production
