CNC Machinist
Permanent
Patchway
Monday – Friday – 06:00-14:00 --- 14:00-22:00
Roles and responsibilities to include:
* Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Ensuring a “Right First Time” approach to all tasks.
* Selecting appropriate tooling.
* Collaborating with the quality team to ensure part conformity and traceability.
* Communicating equipment needs with Engineering & Quality managers.
We are looking for specific experience for this role:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC machinery
* Setting and operating CNC machines – preferably CNC Milling machines
* Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
* Experience of 3 axis milling machining centres preferable but not essential
* Ability to edit CNC programmes to suit need if required
* Fanuc experience preferable but not essential
* Skilled in using measuring tools – Mainly Vernier calipers
* Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
