CNC Miller  Location: Leicestershire Salary: £16 to £23.50 per hour(depending on experience) Shifts: Days | 4 on 4 off | Weekend shifts available Job Type: Permanent Winsearch is working with a well-established precision engineering business in Leicestershire to recruit experienced CNC Millers / Machinists to support continued growth across their machining operations. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be working on Belotti CNC milling machines with Siemens controls, supporting production across a range of complex components. Key Responsibilities - Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components - Working on Belotti machining centres using Siemens controls - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Ensuring parts are produced to required tolerances and quality standards - Carrying out basic inspection of components using measuring equipment - Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives within the machine shop - Working safely and in line with company procedures at all times About the Machines & Software - Belotti CNC milling machines - Siemens control systems - Hypermill CAD/CAM software (experience beneficial but not essential) Shift Options - Standard day shift - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - Weekend shifts available Requirements - Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist - Strong experience with CNC milling (not turning) - Experience working with Siemens controls would be advantageous - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Experience working within precision engineering environments - Strong attention to detail and quality standards Desirable - Experience with Hypermill programming - Experience working with large or complex components What's on Offer - Competitive salary depending on experience - Flexible shift options including 4 on 4 off and weekends - Opportunity to work with advanced CNC machinery - Long-term career stability within a growing engineering business If you are a skilled CNC Miller looking for your next opportunity, or would like to find out more, please get in touch with the Winsearch team for a confidential discussion.
