CNC Miller

Looking for a Skilled CNC Miller

We are seeking a skilled candidate with experience of multi axis CNC Machining, and Quality inspection including use of CMM

Your duties include:

* CNC Machining, and setting

* Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.

* Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required.

* Using initiative to improve quality/throughput etc

* Working to scheduled lists

* Operate within a S's manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards

EXPERIENCE:

* Demonstrable experience of CNC programming is desirable - EDGECAM FANUC or similar but not essential

* Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances

* Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining

* Use of inspection tools (able to perform 100% inspection) and CMM desirable

* Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions

* Working to high quality standards

Qualifications

Engineering apprenticeship desirable

National Engineering Technical certificate

NVQ's or City and Guilds

We operate a standard 37-hour week (4.5) days, with opportunity for overtime, weekend and shift work which is paid at a premium
