Job Description: Job Title: CNC Miller (Programmer, however strong CNC Setters would be considered) Location:Byfleet Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per year (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join our growing team. Responsibilities ⦁ Develop, test, and optimise CNC programmes for milling machines ⦁ Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate programme creation. ⦁ Set up CNC machines, including selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures, ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance. ⦁ Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to programmes or machine settings. ⦁ Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols. ⦁ Maintain detailed records of programme versions, modifications, and machine performance data. Qualifications ⦁ Proven experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment. ⦁ Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. ⦁ CNC Milling (3‑Axis) ⦁ Programming, setting, and operating ( May consider skilled Setter Operators) ⦁ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensions and tolerances ⦁ Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks and familiarity with CAM software is advantageous ⦁ Positive attitude with a focus on safety, reliability, and organisation ⦁ Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards.
