CNC Miller – Mazak / Mazatrol Location: County Durham Rate: Up to £19.00 per hour + shift allowance Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Overtime: Available, paid at time and a half Jackson Hogg are supporting a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer in County Durham who are looking to recruit two CNC Millers on a permanent basis. The business operates across the oil & gas, projects and defence sectors and has an excellent order book with long-term, stable work and exciting growth plans. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller with strong Mazatrol programming capability to join a business investing in its people and facilities. The Role * Operating 3 & 4 axis Mazak CNC milling machines * Mazatrol programming at the machine * Setting, operating and editing programs * Producing precision components to tight tolerances * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Carrying out basic quality inspection of own work * Working to health & safety and housekeeping standards Requirements * Time-served CNC Miller or equivalent experience * Strong experience with Mazak milling machines * Mazatrol programming experience essential * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Experience working to tight tolerances Pay & Benefits * Up to £19.00 per hour (standard day rate) * Based on 40 hours per week = £39,520 per annum * Shift allowances (applied to base rate): * Earlies: +11% * Backs: +22% * Nights: +33% * Overtime available, paid at time and a half * Permanent, long-term opportunity If you are an experienced CNC Miller with Mazatrol programming experience and are open to discussing a new opportunity in County Durham, please apply or get in touch for more information
