CNC Miller Programmer We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to work in a modern, fast-paced environment producing high-precision components across a range of industries. The Role: As a CNC Miller Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, with a strong focus on Heidenhain-controlled machines. You will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, meeting quality standards and delivery deadlines. Key Responsibilities: * Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls * Develop and implement offline programs to improve efficiency and reduce downtime * Interpret technical drawings and machine components to tight tolerances * Carry out in-process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met * Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimise disruption to production * Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery * Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition * Follow all health & safety procedures and quality standards Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer * Strong working knowledge of Heidenhain controls * Experience with CAD/CAM and offline programming * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work * Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Working Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00 * Friday: 07:30 – 15:00 (early finish) * Overtime available What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary depending on experience * Overtime opportunities * Stable, long-term position within a growing company * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Opportunities for further development and progression
