CNC Miller Setter/Operator (Hurco) Location: Witham, Essex Salary: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime + Bonus Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm CNC Miller - Hurco Setter/Operator | Precision Engineering | Witham We are working with a well-established subcontract precision engineering company in Witham, supporting industries such as Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical, Oil & Gas, and Commercial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join their skilled and friendly team. Key Responsibilities Set and operate Hurco CNC milling machines Prove out new jobs and ensure first-off quality approval Machine high-precision components to tight tolerances (down to 20 microns) Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings Support production efficiency and continuous improvement Assist with basic CNC programming (training available if needed) Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Machinist / CNC Setter Operator Strong setting and operating experience (essential) Experience with Hurco controls or OneCNC software (desirable) Experience with XYZ machines (advantageous) Ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Apprentice-trained or time-served background preferred Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop Benefits £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Overtime available Performance-based bonus scheme Free onsite parking 20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 with service) Stable, supportive, and team-focused working environment If you are an experienced Miller please call Julia @ Prime Appointments or apply via the link.
