CNC Miller (Hurco, WinMax) – 4 Day Week Location: G81, Scotland Salary: £17.50 – £18.50 per hour + Overtime (Time & ½) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:15pm We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company based in the G81 area of Scotland. This role is ideal for a CNC Miller with experience using Hurco milling machines and WinMax conversational controls. The company specialises in the manufacture of high-precision prototype and low-volume components for the Medical, Scientific, and Laser industries, offering varied and technically interesting work. Responsibilities * Programming, setting and operating Hurco VM1 and Hurco VM2 CNC milling machines * Programming using WinMax conversational controls * Manufacturing precision prototype and small batch components * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Tool selection, setting offsets and proving out programs * Producing first-off components and quality checking * Working to tight tolerances and high precision standards * Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high workshop standards Requirements * Experience working as a CNC Miller * Experience with Hurco CNC milling machines (VM series preferred) * Experience programming using WinMax controls * Ability to program, set and operate independently * Experience producing precision engineered components * Ability to read technical engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail and quality Salary & Benefits * £17.50 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience) * Overtime available paid at time and a half * 4 day working week * Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:15pm * Opportunity to work on complex prototype components * Stable long-term role within a high-precision engineering environment Apply If you are an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Machinist or Programmer Setter Operator with Hurco and WinMax experience, apply today with your CV to be considered
