CNC Miller - Setter/Operator or Programmer (Fanuc - 3 & 5 Axis) - Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join an established, successful precision engineering business. You'll produce a mix of new and repeat components in small batches, working across a range of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls. This role would suit either a competent Setter/Operator or an experienced Programmer/Setter/Operator. Most programming is completed offline, and candidates with offline programming experience can expect a higher starting salary (software training can be provided). Key responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls (3 & 5 axis) Manufacture small-batch parts to drawing and specification Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information Inspect work using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure precision and quality Carry out routine machine checks/maintenance to support best performance Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment What's on offer Stable, permanent position within a strong and growing company Interesting, challenging work with opportunities to progress Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Substantial profit-share bonus scheme on top of salary You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
