CNC Milller Setter Operator

Do you have experience setting and operating CNC machines ? Do you have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings? Can you operate 3,4 and 5 axis machines? If so this exciting role could be for you ! Our client is a manufacturer of complex parts. They are looking for a CNC miller to join thier team and assist with producing accurate machined parts for its customers Main Responsibilities: * Setting and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls * Producing high complexity components from a range of materials * read and interpret technical drawings * Attendance in SQDCP meetings when required * Setting up tools, offsets, etc ready for your own operation and assist operators where appropriate Requirements : * Expereince setting up and operating CNC Milling machines including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools * Keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor the machining process closely * Knowledge and experience of Heidenhain controls * Good working knowledge using various inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges * Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings * Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications Package £14.25 - £16.98 per hour depending on experience (£27,531 - £32,805) 07:30 a.m. – 16:00 p.m. Mon – Thu, 07:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fri * 37 hours per week * 25 days + Bank holidays * Standard pension * Employee referral programme
