CNC Mill/Turn Setter Operator

A well-established engineering business is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join its team. The role involves setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce high-quality components to customer drawings and specifications, with a strong focus on aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

*

Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC controls.

*

Produce components accurately to customer drawings and specifications.

*

Carry out inspection of own work in line with drawing and SPC requirements.

*

Maintain a high standard of engineering quality and workmanship.

*

Maintain the working area to 5C/5S standards.

What You’ll Bring

*

Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator with strong engineering ability.

*

Solid experience using FANUC controls.

*

Previous experience within the aerospace industry.

*

Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feed is advantageous.

Location & Pay

Location: Poole, UK
Day Shift: £17.50–£18.00 per hour
Night Shift: £17.00–£18.00 per hour + 30% night uplift (£22.10–£23.40 effective hourly rate)
