CNC Operator

A CNC Operator is required to join a highly successful manufacturing business based in Cradley Heath. As a global leader in industrial engineering and materials, the company operates a busy fabrication site producing components used in the assembly of large balcony units. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator looking to join a well-established organisation offering long-term opportunities. As a CNC Operator your duties will be - · Operating a 5-axis Elumatec CNC machining centre · Adjusting and amending screen settings · Reading and working from engineering drawings · Accurately measuring materials prior to cutting · Loading and unloading steel materials onto the machine · Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area For this role you will need to - · Have previous experience operating CNC machinery · Be confident adjusting machine settings · Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings · Be local to the Cradley Heath area · Be flexible to work a double day shift pattern: o Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm o Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-10:00pm, Friday 2:00pm-8:00pm On offer for this CNC Operator role - · Immediate start · Temp to perm opportunity · Working Monday - Friday on a double day shift pattern · Hourly rate of £14.00 - £15.00 per hour · Opportunity to join a large successful company If you're an experienced CNC Operator seeking a stable role with progression potential, apply today ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
