Apply NowAn established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Production Programmer to join their team at a key production site.
This is a hands-on role focused on creating and modifying CNC machine programmes in line with technical drawings and production requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient workflow, accurate programming, and on-time delivery for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creating CNC programmes using designated software
* Interpreting engineering drawings and manually programming where required
* Using basic 2D CAD to check geometry and dimensions
* Managing CNC machine schedules and monitoring job progress
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met
* Quoting lead times for sections/fittings
* Maintaining accurate production records and documentation
* Supporting traceability through batch number monitoring
Requirements:
* Proven experience programming CNC machines
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Basic 2D CAD knowledge
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work closely with production and commercial teams
